History of SMA Negeri 1 Tile - Banyuwangi


 In December 1966 the Committee established SMA Founder tiles which is chaired by Mr R. Susilo as Deputy Head in the tile and is assisted by officials from relevant agencies and educational leaders. One month after the formation of the committee, which is dated January 26, 1967, based on Decree No. 05/D2a/K Inspectorate SMA '67 stood Public School Level (SMA) with the status of the State tile classes away from high schools or Filial Banyuwangi.
 Educational activities focused on building originally owned by the Chinese Foundation that has been dissolved by government regulation. Educational activity center is located at Jalan Gajah Mada behind Ria Cinema (now the area of elementary tiles VII or III SMA Muhammadiyah Genteng). In accordance with current regulations since the first year of new admissions 1967 until 1969 the average SMA Genteng accommodate as many as 3 classes.
 Founder Committee never recede struggling to realize SMA Genteng. Joint Local Government, PTA (Association of Parents and Teachers) is now the Committee, and the Society seek funds through the night market to realize a new building in Jalan Kalisetail tiles with 10 classrooms, staff room, office space. And of these joint efforts on July 27, 1971 officially became a state high school tiles that stand alone with the first headmaster of the late Mr IW Sadhono. Then in 1993 when it stood SMA Negeri 2 Genteng, then the name changed to tile SMA SMA Negeri 1 Genteng .



SMAN 1 Genteng, which was established on July 21, 1971 is one of the best schools in the regency of Banyuwangi. Address at Jl. KH. Wachid Hasyim no. 20 tel. (0333) 845134 Genteng.


With the motto "Satwika SAKTA MANGAJYA", SMAN 1 tile trying to realize the vision referred to as the Tri Satya Wiyata, namely:
